Remote Security Project Manager

Desired Skills and Experience *

• Demonstrated Project Management experience on Engineering or IT projects
• Good understanding of security concepts and software build environments
• Excellent Oral and Written Communication skills
• BA/BS or equivalent in Engineering or Business
• 5-7+ years’ experience in a fast paced, high technology environment with at least 3-5+ years of strong proven project management skills
• Strong collaboration, influencing and facilitation skills. Proven ability to influence and lead outside of organization and across roles and functions.

Plusses

-Experience working in an Engineering Organization
-PMP, Agile, CISM certification

Day-to-Day :

A large software and telecommunications customer is looking for a Security Project Manager to sit remotely and join a growing team that supports the Engineering organization.

A successful candidate in this role will be a catalyst for Engineering’s Intellectual Asset Protection transformation, as they manage the planning and implementation of Build Environment Hardening requirements. The Engineering Intellectual Assets Project Manager must demonstrate a passion for collaborating with cross-functional team members be energetic, flexible, and highly organized.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive commitment and execution of build hardening security requirements in partnership with Engineering, IT and Infosec
• Track project milestones, action items, risks, and dependencies
• Report out status to scrum of scrum and leadership team
• Provide creativity in problem solving and attention to details.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $85,706.00 – $115,000.00 per year
