Responsibilities

Basic Purpose

Provides engineering design services for telecommunications facilities and ensures that these facilities are constructed and maintained appropriately.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develops detailed engineering design and documentation with the support of senior engineers for small-sized Telecom projects.

Coordinates the construction of small-sized projects with the other departments, contractors, vendors, etc.

Participates in project scoping, budgeting and scheduling activities.

Participates in the development and maintenance of department standards and processes.

Provides technical support for Telecom field crews.

Ensures all compliance aspects of position are known and followed; understands and complies with all policies, codes and regulations applicable to position and company.

Performs related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Essential Education, Skills, and Environment
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Telecom Engineering from an accredited school.


Specialized Knowledge and Skills

Demonstrated knowledge of electrical engineering principles.


Equipment and Applications

PCs, word processing, spreadsheet and database software.


Work Environment and Physical Demands

General office environment. No special physical demands required.

Compensation

Annual Salary: $72,500.00 (Min) to $85,300.00 (Mid); Up to 6% Short Term Incentive Plan target opportunity at the discretion of the company. This is a non-represented position.
