We are the Internet of Things and Digital Services team. We are part of the Cabin & Cargo Engineering, located in Hamburg and Bremen and with links to other locations like China, India and Singapore.

You can expect a highly visible and transverse role connected to internal stakeholders (Marketing, Customer Services, Design Office, Programmes, IM, etc.) and external partners, leading key projects showing the value of Connectivity and Digital.

Your new job:

As a Digital Solutions Architect (m/f) you new job will combine these 4 areas:

• Business (Customer Needs & Market Opportunities)

• Infrastructure (Airborne and Ground, including SW platform / middleware)

• Data (from Acquisition to Analytics)

• Application (Design, Development & Implementation)

Examples of Solutions:

• IoT dashboards (e.g. Web App) in real-time interaction with cabin devices.

• New connected smart devices (e.g. seats).

• Predictive Maintenance for Cabin & Cargo.

• Wireless IFE open configuration.

What do we expect from you?

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or similar

• At least 3 years of experience in the fields of Service/Solution/Product Design, IoT or Software Architecture.

• Experience in Design Thinking and AGILE methodologies

• Able to propose a basic Software Architecture for an MVP (Rapid prototyping, demonstrators, interfaces, APIs) and to write PRD (Product Requirements Document).

• Able to support the definition of a Service Blueprint, user-personas and customer journeys.

• Overall understanding of Predictive Maintenance (from sensing/data generation to algorithms).

• Previous experience with Open Platforms (SW) is a plus.

• Strong interest in continuously learning and driving new technologies & products.

• Team player with excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Negotiation level of English; additional languages are appreciated.

This job require sporadic trips to other Airbus sites, customers and business partners worldwide.
