Telecom CAD Technician

Complete Design Solutions is seeking an individual with 1-3 years of experience for a full-time Telecom CAD Technician to join our team near our Des Moines, Chicago or our Indianapolis, IN locations.

We specialize in Wireless Telecommunications; Tower Sites, DAS, Small Cell and Fiber Optic OSP Design for clients throughout the United States. This is a full-time 1099 – contract position with potential for a full-time position with benefits following a (6-12) month probationary period. Typical work week will consist of 40-50 hours per week, salary will be based on experience. Indianapolis hire will be in a traditional office setting. For remote / cyber- commute – work from home positions, CDS will provide – CPU w/ (2) monitors, candidate will be required to provide appropriate high-speed internet connection.

Experience: Telecom, Architectural and/or Civil design using Autocad &/or Civil 3D-2019

Required Qualifications:

– Must have 1-3 years on the job experience as a CAD Technician / Designer.

– Coordinate / develop drawings & details w/ information from field measurements, photographs, research, etc…completed by project team members.

– Research, coordinate and maintain information via the Internet and / or at local municipalities for documents pertinent to each current project.

– Navigate Municipal & County web sites for building codes, GIS maps and site information.

– Architectural / Telecom design – drafting a plus.

– Ability & understanding of scaling and working Annotative Scales.

– Ability & understanding of XREFs, model & paper space drafting environments.

– Must communicate & function effectively with peers and senior staff in a team environment.

– Attention to detail, quality oriented, able to take constructive suggestions-direction.

– Positive attitude, service oriented with good attendance record.

– Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment a must!

– Additional experience using: Microsoft office; word, excel, Blue Beam &/or Adobe.

– Must possess a valid driver’s license.

– Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screening.
