Under direction of the Research Operations Administrator, this position works directly with MMI principal investigators, UNMC administrators, and grant sponsors to apply and manage internal and external projects from pre-award to post-award. Works with University Sponsored Programs offices and external agencies to ensure projects remain in compliance. This position plays an important role in maintaining the Munroe-Meyer Institute’s research portfolio.

4. Ability to identify and prioritize tasks, to carry out assignments from start to finish, and ability to promptly ask for help when stuck on a project.

5. Willingness and ability to learn to present technical information to MMI staff using formal presentations. Training/coaching available to enhance presentation skills.

6. Must enjoy working as team member and have interpersonal skills, including the willingness to effectively deal with conflict in the workplace.
