Jr. GIS Analyst – Remote
Johnson Service Group Inc has immediate opening for a Jr. GIS Analyst in Atlanta, GA area. The position is a REMOTE and contract-to-hire position with competitive starting pay. This is a great opportunity to join a well-respected engineering firm and work on some high profile telecom projects.
Responsibilities include drafting ongoing telecom projects utilizing GIS / CAD mapping software.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years experience with GIS ArcMap or similar software, AutoCAD or Microstation is a plus
- Mapping experience is a big plus
- Must have a Desktop and Monitor for Remote work
- Detail-oriented and organized; ability to provide complete detailed drawings
- Strong analytical skill and problem-solving mentality
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Telecommunications mapping/utilities experience is a plus
- Consideration will be given to entry level graduates with a degree in AutoCAD or GIS.
