The Project Manager will work effectively with telecom engineering teams and thrive in a fast-paced setting that is constantly evolving. You are forward-thinking and can give answers before questions arise. You effectively communicate with others and bring people together around a common goal. You focus on the details and are adept at time management, you set realistic goals and KPIs, and ensure tasks are completed on time and under budget. Interfacing with our clients to ensure the satisfaction of production and quality.

Responsibilities

• Interface with clients and our team to define the timeline and execution of projects
• Assist with the development of Project Schedules, incorporating dates and times for decisions, availability of deliverables needs
• Deliver fiber build projects of medium to high complexity
• Be a collaborative leader, capable of driving internal & external stakeholders to consensus while balancing projects needs with longer-term relationship objectives
• Lead with confidence and with little supervision
• An innate ability to establish relationships and cultivate effective collaboration.
• Ability to run numerous concurrent projects and clients.
• Great communication that allows you to interact with a diverse set of clients and teammates
• Interpret business challenges, create process mapping, analyze potential improvements, and translate these into best practices, solutions, and KPIs
• Adhere to company organizational standards and deliver reports on time tracking and health of clients to company leadership.

The Ideal Candidate Has

• 10 years of experience in the telecom industry
• 5 years of project management experience
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively
• Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
• Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline

Our hard-working men and women in our engineering division design networks to guarantee the country’s high-speed internet and 5G cellular service is the best in the world. We have 400 employees today, but we’ll need to double that number by 2023.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client base is expanding, and we need experienced project managers to interface between our engineering design team and our clients. This person will create and track project timelines while interfacing between SQUAN and clients.
