Senior Hardware Asset Management Architect will be joining our IT Asset Management department that supports the Enterprise Service Management Office in Tech Services. In this role, you will design, architect, implement, and oversees IT Hardware Asset inventory processes and procedures. You will ensure all IT teams are equipped with proper resources (training, tooling, reporting, etc.) to deliver a successful hardware asset management practice throughout all stages of the inventory’s lifecycle. You will work alongside the Senior Hardware Asset Manager and will be responsible for advising on hardware asset management processes, policies, procedures, CMDB taxonomy and technology to address regulatory, operational, and reporting requirements for managing IT hardware assets.

As a Senior Hardware Asset Management Architect, you will bring value to our company by understanding the needs of the business, anticipating future needs, and executing on efforts to fulfill the needs while providing an inspiring, transformational experience.

This position will be filled to work at the following Jack Henry office locations: Lenexa, KS, Elizabethtown, KY, Louisville, KY, Allen, TX, or Remotely within the U.S.

What you’ll be responsible for:
  • Ensure accurate lifecycle management of IT Assets, maintaining and continuously improve the processes.
  • Ensure the completeness & accuracy of data coming into & out of the asset management system:
    • Perform routine tests on completeness & accuracy
    • Work with data governance owners to ensure issues with source system data is reported & corrected
    • Ensure referential integrity across data schema
    • Ensure proper actions are taken upon data import (append, replace, etc.)
    • Ensure data limitations are clearly communicated to & understood by downstream users.
  • Oversee purchase history and work with appropriate teams to decrease spend
    • By supplier
    • By asset class.
  • Develop key partner relationships in conjunction with the Supplier Relationship Management leads.
  • Assist with activities to define, deliver, and oversee the Hardware & Configuration management roadmap.
  • perform other job duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to have:
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience working in asset management and/or configuration management.
  • Experience with ITIL v.4 Framework.
  • Experience with ITAM & ITSM toolsets (e.g. ServiceNow, Cherwell).
  • Experience with data manipulation (MS Excel or SQL).
  • Experience in managing service partner’s and suppliers including contracts.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including collaboration, communication, relationship building, and negotiation.
  • Ability to apply sound judgement to make difficult and complex choices in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% to attend JHA meetings, trainings, and/or professional conferences.
What would be nice for you to have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or Network Engineering.
  • CHAMP certification.
