Job Summary*
The Manager, OSP Network Inventory oversees the process after fiber construction is complete, qualifying every serviceable address for fiber or copper internet services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: *
The Essential Duties and Responsibilities listed below are a range of duties performed by the employee and not intended to reflect all duties performed.
- Lead an internal OSP team that includes union and non-union employees. Provide leadership and mentorship to OSP team through coaching, feedback, development goals and performance management.
- Oversee the fiber network documentation, ensuring ISP and OSP records and customer circuits are accurate and current.
- Oversee internal ticketing system, ensuring queries related to fiber circuits and other services are addressed accurately and timely.
- Develop and implement high qualify network documentation standards and procedures.
- Manage GPON splitter capacity, generate augment request prior to exhaustion.
- Review and resolve orders pending network assignments or route to engineering organization for resolution.
- Team is responsible for building all new address in network inventory systems.
- Maintain staffing plan to meet business needs and objectives.
- Verify contractor’s invoices for accuracy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 6+ years of OSP experience.
- 3+ years of leadership experience.
- Prior experience using DPI, M6 and Infinium.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office.
- Advanced understanding of fiber optic network topology.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
- Developed leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and lead others.
- Ability to work independently and apply sound judgment and reasoning skills to a variety of situations
- Ability to multi-task and collaborate effectively with other personnel to meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work within critical deadlines.
- Ability to adjust to rapidly changing priorities and schedules.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service.
