Inside Technical Sales Representative based in Yellowknife

We are looking for an experienced Inside Technical Sales representative to assist in moving our Organization forward in the Yellowknife and the surrounding communities in Northern Canada. This position will focus on the sales of our IT networks, managed services, and distribution systems.

The successful candidate is an effective team member and delivers results. They are flexible to the requirements of the IT industry and have the ability to find custom solutions to remote and challenging locations providing all necessary telecommunication services. They will have strong interpersonal skills and will communicate effectively and understand our client’s requirements.

Job Duties/Expectations:

• Provide custom telecommunication network solutions fiber, copper satellite infrastructures, wireless, PTP, networking switches, computers, PTT devices, television services, and two-way radio solutions
• Support and sell products available through our vendors, assist in building new offerings
• Support the launch of new clients including steps towards onboarding assisting in our internal systems
• Works well in a team environment
• Monitor and assist with solutions for various Tenders throughout Northern Canada

Qualifications/Competencies:

• A University degree or an equivalent technical background
• Excellent organization and planning skills.
• At least 5 years in Networking sales experience with a broad understating of the technical aspects of the job
• Committed to continual growth and training on various solutions, networks, applications, and integration requirements for satellite fed networking solutions
• Self-motivated to drive the next step within a sales cycle
• Solid business focus and strong customer facing experience in working with small medium and large sized clients
• Be able to communicate effectively and give presentations to various audiences
• Experience in corporate sales environment with a strong sales background
• Ability to apply technology to build new business through marketing, cold calling, client consultations and follow- ups
• Be mobile and have a valid driver’s license
• Telecommunications experience is a must
• Experience in Customer Care, Retention, Inbound Sales or Outbound Sales

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
