Job Description:
As a Consultant Program Manager, you will be leading key strategic IT infrastructure projects/programs that will have a positive effect on the Dell digital environment. In this role, you will encompass business requirements into project/program scope activities that you will lead and execute successfully with your global engineering resources. You will be managing mid to large-sized global IT infrastructure projects/programs to consolidate existing infrastructure, coordinate device and data migrations, and/or deploy new infrastructure to meet business requirements. This role will include a variety of other IT infrastructure projects/programs that incorporate networking, storage, servers, telecom, and other DC devices towards upgrades, EOL, and consolidation.
You will:

• Lead and execute assigned infrastructure projects/programs ensuring that all requirements are met in designs, managing associated financials, planning deployments, and ensuring stakeholder acceptance
• Engage and manage matrixed engineering resources and outcomes across global cross-functional teams
• Maintain ongoing and relevant communications on all projects/programs and be skilled to present to executive leadership effectively
• Lead all aspects of project documentation, development of success criteria, outcomes measurement, and the successful handoff of projects through effective communication
• Coordinate the use of appropriate tools and techniques in order to guarantee the progress of the project and changes to the scope and schedule
• Identify and quantify variances and take any corrective actions while communicating with all partners.

Essential Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in project/program management with the ability to lead several concurrent global projects independently with solid results
• Strong and demonstrative project/program management skills, including planning, prioritizing, budgeting, and organizing activities to be able to self-direct project goals and timelines with successful outcomes
• Effective communication skills executed through ongoing emails, project/program stakeholder updates, as well as senior and executive leadership
• Proven ability to lead in a global, collaborative team environment, develop partnerships across Dell, and manage outside vendors to perform work efficiently
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to work with other teams to get a viable result
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and resolve it to bring about intended results
• Possess a solid Experience with IT infrastructure which includes network deployments, device/data migrations, and/or server-storage upgrades and deployments.

Desirable Requirements:

• Successful management of a portfolio of infrastructure projects/programs
• Previous project/program work at Dell
• Strong technical experience along with the required project/program skills.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $70.00 – $85.00 per hour
