General Summary of Position:

Granite is looking for a highly motivated and capable team member to architect and deliver product training in a fast paced technical environment. This Product Trainer will collaborate with technical subject matter experts in Granite’s Product teams to develop world class product training and certification programs to internal teams. This will require the development of product knowledge and process trainings, and delivery in a blend of online, video based e-learning, and traditional classroom training.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Development and delivery of Product Training programs for the entire organization. Including product technical descriptions, emerging telecom technologies, and various operational processes required to support those products.
  • Implementation of multiple levels of certification to accredit proficiency with product knowledge and role specific business processes.
  • Designing and developing content in variety of formats (e.g. ILT, eLearning, video, job aids) based on the specific needs of each program.
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts on current and upcoming products to keep program offerings current.
  • Managing course rosters and completion records in Granite University LMS.
  • Cultivate relationships with Operations leadership at all levels in order to facilitate collaborative content development, effective training needs assessment, and provide a channel for direct and constructive feedback on training programs.
  • Others duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3-5 years experience in a telecommunications environment with an emphasis on product.
  • Experience with formal training, info sessions, or internal knowledge transfer.
  • Engaging and positive personality with a collaborative mindset.
  • Strong project management skills and experience managing collaborative relationships with management and subject matter experts (SMEs)
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities is a must.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Strong Organizational and Time Management Skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Consistent work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High level of telecommunications product knowledge preferred (e.g. Access, Wireless/Mobility, VoIP, Managed Services, SDWAN).
  • Proficiency with training or teaching methods preferred.
  • Proficiency with Granite University training tools (Camtasia, Articulate Storyline, Cornerstone LMS, GoToMeeting or other conferencing service) preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
