Cable Technician

We are looking for a Cable Technician to work for a leader in the healthcare industry. This person will be responsible for initiating maintenance of copper and fiber infrastructure as necessary, and oversee low voltage construction activities as well. You will need to be skilled in testing copper and fiber cabling, and well as using the proper tools needed to complete the testing. You will be working on data centers and offsite locations locally, either construction sites or active locations.

Desired Skill Set

– 3+ years experience as a cabling technician (indoor cabling not outdoor)
– Experience with copper, fiber troubleshooting and testing
– Experience with CAT 6 copper, fiber troubleshooting and testing, primarily SM
– Experience within the telephony/ ethernet space
– Experience within Data Centers preferred
– Knowledge on proper safety procedures for construction activities
– Knowledge of electrical properties governing the transmission of electrical signals over copper transmission mediums

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
