About this unit:

• The culture throughout the entire hospital is team and patient focused.

Responsibilities:

• The operator is responsible for high quality, efficient communication service to patients, physicians, employees, public, etc.
• In addition to answering and routing incoming telephone calls, the operator also monitors the Siemens control board for trouble issues that may result with incidence of fire, impact on system gases, and blood bank refrigerator temperature changes.
• Also, panic switches at the front desk and surgery recovery also alarm in PBX.
• One of the main functions of PBX is the facilitation of the various emergency codes in place throughout the hospital.
• Acting upon notification, the operator following a series of pre-defined processes for notification of appropriate personnel and/or agencies.
• Must be kind, calm, patient, and must speak clearly.
• Must be dependable.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• PreviousTele-communications experience desired.
• Good telephone voice, ability tooverlap, and cope with pressure and stress.
