This role in the Mobile Product team is focused on customer usage and billing, and the charging software which underpins EE’s market leading propositions.
You will be responsible for the charging engine for EE Mobile and ensuring that it is used to its full potential in the development and launch of new propositions. You’ll work with the software vendor and cross functional teams to define its ongoing evolution and strategy, deliver brilliant new capability, and manage in-life business performance of the platform. This role requires you to translate technical capabilities to meet marketing needs whilst simultaneously ensuring regulatory compliance related to proposition development is adhered to. The successful candidate will ideally have knowledge of billing regulation as you’ll be required to manage our spend control and payment services (PSD2) solutions in line with industry regulation. You’ll immerse yourself in cross functional project teams and be comfortable both leading and working with others to deliver change to optimise the charging experience and support new
- Overseeing the business performance of the rating engine in line with business KPI’s
- Providing consultation on the new software and its capabilities to internal stakeholders
- Provide expertise and guidance to the wider marketing team to ensure billing compliant proposition development and partner onboarding
- Liaising with the Billing Experience team to ensure alignment with bill presentation and the billing experience
- Initiate and support changes that improve charging related compliance and operational efficiencies whilst creating stand out experiences for our customers, front-line agents, and support teams
- You also be required to work on other Products across the Mobile Product team as technology and business demand evolves
- Product management – full product life cycle management, from product strategy definition through to delivery and product performance, with responsibility for business outcomes
- Commercial acumen – understand and create business cases for product development and business improvement initiatives
- Project initiation and delivery – balance complex business requirements, conflicting priorities, and technical capabilities to achieve positive business outcomes, on concurrent projects
- Communication and networking – excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders of varying seniority, including technical, marketing, legal, regulatory and compliance
- Relationship management – balance the needs of stakeholders, suppliers, and market insight to make sound business decisions while confidently managing business priorities
