Telecommunications Project Manager Compensation & Benefits
Total compensation for the Telecommunications Project Manager in Austin, Texas is between $70,000 and $90,000 depending on experience and may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance.

Telecommunications Project Manager Duties & Responsibilities
- Consult and coordinate with key stakeholders to achieve the desired deliverable.
- Conduct project pricing to include takeoffs, estimates, and proposals.
- Conduct project set-up to include validity checks and corrections, work orders, and project-in-boarding.
- Define the scope of work for the project teams by defining project milestones and creating a project scope package.
- Conduct project buyout to include subcontractors, materials, and tools.
- Create a schedule of completion including milestones.
- Identify schedule constraints and manage accordingly to ensure cycle time.
- Ensure that the project is to specs, applicable laws, and departmental design standards.
- Gather, file, and submit to GC all items needed to close a project.
- Create and submit billings for all projects as soon as billing milestones are completed.
- Ensure that the project is performing to or above project profit standards.
- Ensure all projects are being tracked in real-time according to departmental standards.
- Approve all payroll prior to entry.
- Monitor and approve all overtime work.
- Continually build, develop, and grow vendor, subcontractor, and field personnel relationships throughout the entire process to assure the success of the project.
- Communicate complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or any other stakeholders.
- Oversee participation in all aspects of job site safety and adherence to OSHA standards.
- Manage numerous work orders and service calls on a national level.
- Manage, motivate, and continuously improve team members.
Telecommunications Project Manager Qualifications
- At least 3 to 5 years of field experience in Project Management or Project Engineering within the Telecommunication Construction Industry (or related position).
- Thrive and adapt to a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Maintain a strong ability to manage and complete projects under tight deadlines.
- Possess professional written and oral communication skills.
- Maintain an ability to see the larger picture.
- Retain a positive attitude with open, respectful communication.
- Be a resourceful problem solver that values creativity in decision-making.
- Possess high organizational skills.
- Be able to delegate, monitor, and adjust action items.
- Proficient in Google Gmail and Google Apps.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficient in PlanGrid.
- Proficient in PDF creation and manipulation software (Bluebeam, Adobe).
- Familiarity with financial software.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Photoshop Software.
Preferred but Not Necessary
- PMP or RCDD Certification.
