Data Center Facility Director at Telecommunication Company

An International Telecommunication Company is seeking a Data Center Facility Director to manage their Staten Island facility.

The Facility Director is responsible for the annual budget goals, revenue stream, new products, and partnerships in business. They will be responsible for overseeing design, upgrades, and manage all preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.

Responsibility:

• Create annual budget for the facility, develop and drive the strategy for new products, revenue streams, and partnership in DC business
• Develop critical system designs and work with engineers to produce compliant construction documents
• Implement energy efficient systems, operating practices, create and execute project plans, methods of procedure
• Develop operation efficiency plan, departmental goals, objectives, analyze and assess policies and operational needs
• Derive product strategy and new business opportunities with partners

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• 8-10 years’ experience as data center facility manager
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $145,000.00 – $165,000.00 per year
