The Software & Services group builds on this to create leading endtoend mission critical operations for Government & Public Safety Communications customers. This position with our local NYC team is focused on Next Generation 911 Solutions. Our VESTA Router Service provides 911 Authorities the cornerstone to their NG911 transitions in a way that fits their resources, budgets and timelines. Our VESTA Call Handling solutions connect citizens to the help they need when they need it. Job Description

The Software & Service Implementation team comprises Project Management, System Engineering, Field Engineers and Operational Support personnel working together in a high performance culture, often with demanding cycle times and high customer expectations because we are working on mission critical communication systems.

This Senior Systems Integration Engineer position will take responsibility for integration efforts and subsystem deployments and oversee technical aspects of all assigned projects from award until system acceptance.

Position Duties

Gather and validate requirements for all assigned projectsproducts.

Track technical requirements through the use of RTVMs.

Produce system design documentation based on requirements.

Develop integration and test processes and policies.

Define, specify andor recommend test tools and scripts necessary to accomplish integration and test activities.

Provide Estimates of Effort for all integration engineering activities.

Provide technical expertise for the resolution of complex problems.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with distributedsystem architectures for federated software cloud, colocated or hybridcloud environments and both physical and virtual networks.

Experience with any of the following SIP, Session Border Controllers, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Elastic Stack

Experience with Linux and DevOps CI CD.

Knowledge of VMware, Linux, Windows, and container solutions VCD,NSXt,ProxMox.

Awareness of Customer expectations and ability to effectively engage and lead customer focused meetings.

Excellent communications skills and the ability to present complex topics to nontechnical audiences.

Position is a hybrid role. Approximately 40 remote, 30 out of the Brooklyn office and 30 on site with customers in NYC. Some travel may be required for all project phases. Travel will be mostly within the New York City area.

Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer

This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice39;s 34;Criminal Justice Information Services CJIS Security Policy34; and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers.
