IT Network Administrator

XS Sights is currently seeking the ideal candidate to join Team XS as the IT Network Administrator. Our offices will be closed December 24, 2022 through January 2, 2023. We will return to the office on January 3, 2023 and will review all applications/resumes and begin setting up interviews at that time.

The IT Network Administrator is responsible for the daily operations, administration, management and maintenance of computer network systems and telecommunications, including hardware/software support, special projects, procurement, database management, troubleshooting and training. We are looking for an exceptional team player with an emphasis in owning IT issues throughout the company until resolved with highy rated internal service levels. This valued position will take on a variety of critical continuous improvement projects.

The IT Network Administrator responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Oversee IT hardware including: all computers, networking equipment, servers, printers, and security equipment, etc.
• Oversee IT software including: MS Office 365, subscriptions, domains, ERP, Big Commerce website, and other niche databases, and security services, etc.
• Implement and maintain company ERP system
• Maintain hardware and software performing all necessary updates and upgrades
• Develop and manage annual IT budget
• Responsible for ensuring that the LAN/WAN network connectivity of the company is adequate and the security and deployment of the LAN/WAN network is also in good standing
• Export data from the back end of systems as required and assist in building standardized KPI reports
• Manage IT consultant vendor contracts and assist in the annual re-negotiation to keep in line with corporate goals
• Own IT issues throughout the company until resolved with highly rated internal service levels
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Perform all duties in accordance with all established quality and safety procedures/work instructions
• Assist in over-arching special projects when asked as part of the continuous improvement initiatives outlined by ownership
• Other duties as may be deemed necessary

Skills & Qualifications:

Must Have:

• 3 to 5 years of directly related experience with the Essential Job Functions outlined
• SQL code writing experience
• Experience in implementing ERP systems
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred Certifications:

• Comp TIA A+
• Comp TIA Server+
• Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
• Per Federal Law and due to XS being a manufacturing facility in the firearms industry, all XS employees are required to legally be able to own a firearm, possess a firearm, or purchase a firearm.
• Exemplary management and teamwork skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining all required work tasks and keeping management appraised of company metrics and goals
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize needs of the company
• Flexibility and willingness to assist others throughout the day
• Proficient in Microsoft operating system (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Required Technical IT knowledge to perform the job

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
