CASCADES CONTAINERBOARD PACKAGING

The Containerboard Packaging Group, a division of Cascades, is the largest containerboard producer in Canada, and is also a top converter of corrugated products in the country. The Group manufactures a wide range of products made from recycled fibres for its North American customers in the food, beverage and consumer products sectors, among many others. The Division, which employs close to 3,400 people, owns six containerboard mills and nineteen corrugated products plants in Canada and the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • 50% of your time: Support the operational and supply chain team for requests related to logistics costs and supply chain optimization
  • 30% of your time: Develop financial analysis tools for logistics costs
  • 20% of your time: Actively participate in the preparation and analysis of results and financial statements for the logistics component of the sales team as well as for the entity sales component (Mills)

In order to do so, you’ll have to:

  • Ensure the continuous improvement of current processes
  • Be action oriented and able to exercise a consultative role
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills and thoroughness
  • Demonstrate analytical skills, autonomy and a high level of initiative

  • A Bachelor’s degree in finance, administration or accounting
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Have a CPA designation or be in the process of obtaining it (an asset)
