Electronic Repair Engineer Glm

This role will analyze, troubleshoot, repair, and resolve technical problems on equipment or components.

Troubleshoots electronics devices at the component level and resolves integration and configuration

problems involving circuit analysis, wave form calculations, fault isolation, prom programming, and signal

flow tracing.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnosis, repair of control and measurement devices / devices (30%)
• Reporting the course of diagnosis and repair as well as functional tests of devices (10%)
• Correspondence and telephone contact with customers regarding device service (10%)
• Preparation and supervision of service and technical documentation (10%)
• Preparing and updating the methodology of repairing the most common faults (10%)
• Preparing and conducting training in the maintenance of serviced devices (10%)
• Replacement of components, electronic modules (10%)
• Contact with device manufacturers on technical issues (10%)

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• 3 to 5 Years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree with electronics, telecommunications, automatics, robotics, computer science field of study required.
• Other Education / Certifications: Practical knowledge of analog and digital electronics, Practical ability to create and work with technical documentation, Experience in soldering (SMD, BGA), Ability to read electronic and electrical schematics, English language
• Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.
• Possesses strong data entry skills.
• Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.
• Able to converse and write effectively in English and local language.
• Able to create and conduct formal presentations.
• Able to interact effectively with all levels of management
• Possesses strong multi-cultural interpersonal skills.
• Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.
• Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
• Able to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities.

• Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
