Who We Are Looking For

Welcome to one of the most exciting New Space companies in Europe with a great vision: 600 satellites for a global low-earth-orbit connectivity network. The satellites will be connected via satellite laser links to communicate directly in space. A constellation like this has never been set up before.

Our customers will benefit from ultra-low latencies, high speeds, unparalleled security, and true global coverage. The satellites will be launched between 2024 and 2028.

Now we are looking for the best talents for our locations in Munich and / or Berlin to make our vision come true.

Your mission

You will be involved in all Mission Analysis activities of the program. You will support all mission analysis matters during the development phase, interacting with the various actors (Launch service providers, Satellites manufacturer, G/S providers, Operations teams) aiming at a consistent and optimum exploitation of the mission. You will contribute to the operational readiness and subsequently to the operational mission analysis activities during the 10-years operational phase.

This includes:

You will support the development phase and the Operations preparation activities by:

  • Supporting all Mission Analysis activities, interacting with the various teams within Rivada and with the relevant contractors and industry
  • Work closely with the Space Segment prime contractor, the launch service provider and the LEOP Responsible entity
  • Support the definition of the constellation operations and the optimisation of its operational exploitation, contributing to establish a world-leading space infrastructure

During the operations phase, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of the operational services, by optimising the exploitation of the constellation, supporting the introduction of new/improved services. What you bring on the table?

  • Successfully completed degree in Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in space systems Mission Analysis, ideally in the context of a space-based telecommunication programme
  • General knowledge of ECSS, CCSDS, flight Dynamics, constellation M&C, would be an advantage
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
