MOBIA is currently seeking a Construction Inspector to join our team in New Brunswick!

In order to excel in this role, you must have strong communications skills, ability to perform well under pressure, ability to multitask and a high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

As a Construction Inspector you will be an integral part of a customer focused team, involved with a major Telecommunications provider. If successful, you will;

• Complete field inspections on the quality of buried service wire placement
• Provide direction to vendors regarding buried service, wire construction method and process
• Monitor vendor workload and schedule to ensure timely completion
• Handle tracking and reporting for monthly billing
• Provide weekly progress updates to leader

Skills / Qualifications:

• 3+ years of job-related experience
• Ability to travel throughout New Brunswick
• Proactive problem solver with strong listening skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage conflict and handle customer complaints
• Ability to lead, motivate and provide guidance to project team members while providing feedback to managers
• Proficiency with MS-Office; and the ability to learn new systems and software programs
• Self-starter with high attention to detail
• Strong organization skills to successfully manage multiple simultaneous vendors and conflict priorities
