Founded in 2011 in Toronto, Canada, it began by selling 4G, 5G, and WiFi test and measurement solutions across North America. In the past 10 years, Acentury has expanded its product portfolio to include low PIM RF components, fiber optic cables, RF filter design and test tuning software with AI, wireless lab management and test automation solution, and 5G RAN site provisioning tool.

To support our growth, we are looking for a smart, independent, creative, curious, and fun-loving person to join Acentury Americas (our US division) as a Senior Sales Engineer. This is a hybrid work based in Dallas area. It involves working from home, meeting other team members in Dallas area as needed, and traveling throughout the US to meet customers.

Job Description
The successful candidate will:
1. Develop and build relationships with Acentury Americas’ customers, channel partners and vendors.
2. Identify technical and delivery requirements from the customers, and position Acentury solutions and capabilities to meet them through online/onsite dialogue, presentations, and demonstrations.
3. Contribute to the team effort to achieve the sales goals for the year.
4. Work closely with Acentury management, R&D, and Operations teams to deliver our products to customers in a timely manner.
5. Provide pre- and post-sales support to customers via emails, phone calls, and onsite visits.
6. Continuously look for creative ideas to enhance Acentury Americas’ business.
7. Be fond of learning and resourceful.
The primary customers for this position are in the US, but the person in this position may need to support our customers in Canada and other countries occasionally as well.
Desired Skills, Experiences, and Attributes
1. A solid understanding of the wireless telecommunication market and industry.
2. Technical experience in one or more of the following areas: (a) 4G LTE/5G NR network testing, (b) 5G NR/WiFi 6E (802.11ax) device performance, conformance, and regression testing, and (c) O-RAN/vRAN technology.
3. Experience in using some of these tools: Spirent Velocity & Octoscope, EMITE MIMO OTA, Anritsu MT8000A, R&S CMW500 & CMX500, Keysight UXM, Accuver XCAL/XCAP, Keysight Nemo, Infovista TEMS, and iBwave.
4. Prior experience selling to wireless operators, enterprises, device manufactures, and test labs is a plus.
5. Excellent interpersonal, time management, and presentation skills.
6. Positive work ethic, self motivation, and ability to work independently.
7. Familiarity with Salesforce CRM system is a plus.
8. Ability to move and transport equipment (most of the time under 25 pounds).
9. A minimum of bachelor’s degree in a related field. Master’s degree in a related field is a plus.
10. 5-7 years related working experience.
11. Fluency in English. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
