Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of sales experience at a software technology company.
Preferred qualifications:
- 8 years of experience promoting infrastructure software, databases, analytic tools, or applications software with a demonstrated track record in exceeding business goals.
- Experience working with and managing partners in implementation projects including global system integrators and packaged software vendors.
- Ability to work with sales engineers and customer’s technical leads to inventory existing software estate, define migration plans, and build business cases for migrations.
- Ability to think strategically and follow through tactically with exceptional organizational, presentation, and excellent verbal written communication skills.
- Excellent at leveraging Executive-level relationships with executives to promote.
- Executive credibility and business acumen.

As a Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for executing account strategies, business coverage plans for specialist solutions. You will contribute to the account plan, forecasting, and sales execution to exceed our annual growth plan. You will work with the Key Account Executive, Principal Architect, Customer Engineers, Specialist Field Sales Representatives, Industry Solutions teams, Customer Experience, and other Google Cloud teams to ensure our customers see Google Cloud as a trusted advisor.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000-$166,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Build and strengthen executive relationships with enterprise customers. Influence long-term strategic direction and serve as a business partner. Facilitate and manage business-cycles, often present to C-level executives in corporate customers.
- Develop an account strategy, tactics, and business pursuit plans to generate and develop business growth opportunities, working collaboratively with Architects, Customer Engineers, and Partners to maximize business results in territory.
- Drive business development, forecast accurately, and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
- Generate a robust pipeline that supports the achievement of assigned targets.
- Understand customer business challenges, key performance indicators established to meet/exceed their business objectives and position the Google Cloud value proposition.
