Telecommunications Construction Laborer

KCS, LLC is searching for motivated Construction Laborers to join our team in Snohomish, Washington. We are a telecommunications contractor performing work for a numerous number of clients. Candidates must be able to perform in all temperatures and weather conditions, with also passing a background check and drug screen. Job Duties:

• All phases of underground construction include but are not limited to: Loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal and placement of various types, sizes and weight of construction materials and equipment
• Hand digging, use of mechanical tools
• Installation and maintenance of underground telecommunications cabling
• Climb in and out of equipment (trucks, cars, backhoes, trenchers, etc.)
• Operate and work around heavy equipment and machinery
• Perform general construction work under direction of Foreman
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Basic knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner
• Basic knowledge and use of tools
• Possession of a valid driver’s license
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.
• Regular and timely attendance is a must

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Pneumatic Piercing Tool: 1 year (Preferred)
• Horizontal Drilling: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver’s License (Required)
