MEP Project Manager

Orion Talent, the nation’s largest military recruiting firm, is currently recruiting transitioning or former military professionals for a Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Project Manager position with a full-service, New York City based Construction Management & General Contracting firm.

Position Details

Location: New York, NY

Compensation: $110K-$130K

Shift: Monday- Friday Day Shift with some variance based on projects

Position Description

As a MEP Project Manager, you will work with project teams overseeing various construction projects from conception through completion in New York City and the surrounding boroughs. You will analyze proposed mechanical, elevator, electrical, plumbing, sprinkler, fire alarm, telecommunication, security, and A/V systems and comment accordingly. You will work with the estimating and project team(s) to buyout the Construction Trades. You will assess and provide feedback on scopes and bid proposals. compile information needed for contract awarding and coordinate with various teams to complete the process. You will assess drawing and specifications issuances during the Pre-Construction Phase.

Position Requirements

• Degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or similar concentration.
• Experience as a technical specialist in the construction or design related field is very beneficial.
• Working knowledge of typical construction project software such as Microsoft Office, Project, or Procore.
