Holtger Bros., Inc. is seeking an experienced aerial foreman to lead OSP fiber projects in Southeastern Wisconsin. HBI is a family-owned and operated telecommunications contractor that has been in business since 1946. We are based in Green Bay, WI, and have employees that live and work throughout the state. We proudly work year-round and are continually growing and looking to add skilled workers and supervisors to our team.
Aerial Foreman Responsibilities
-Outside plant construction (all aspects) new build, maintenance, lash and overlash, fiber, coax, fiber optic cable, and pole transfers
-Supervising the work crew consisting of 1-2 members
-Planning the most efficient and effective work order in order to perform tasks on a daily and weekly basis.
-Identifying, communicating, and troubleshooting problems on the job site and is responsible for the quality or work as well as creating and ensuring a positive, professional company image on the job site.
Aerial Foreman Preferred Qualifications
-Two years of lineman experience including working out of a bucket truck, climbing poles, and working from a ladder
-One year supervisory experience
-Ability to read and understand telephone and CATV prints
-Willing to travel (primarily in Southern WI) Monday-Friday (home weekends, if not nightly)
-Insurance-acceptable driver’s license- Class A CDL preferred/able to obtain
-Previous training in utility safety standards
-Able to work in an outside environment in variable weather conditions
