The Opportunity
One Medical is looking for an Associate IT Telecommunications Engineer to support our cloud-based telephony technology. As the Associate Telecommunications Engineer, you’ll be part of our IT Engineering Telecommunications team and be responsible for the day-to-day support of our contact center technology stack. You will be working closely with our Telecommunications Engineers, IT Engineering team and our operations partners.
What You’ll Likely Work On
- Monitoring the availability and reliability of our telecommunications stack (RingCentral, Nice CXone and Zoom) along with implementation of emergency protocols
- Assist with managing technical performance of overall telephony systems
- Working as a partner with our IT Engineering team to support the innovation, automation, and execution of our Contact Center telephony system
- Analyze and resolve NICE CXone & RingCentral application issues in production
- User account lifecycle management of Telephony platforms
- Assisting IT Telecommunications leadership and engineers with Telephony project milestones and initiatives
You’ll Need
- 2+ years of experience in Telephony platforms (in particular, Cloud Contact Center platforms and business VOIP systems)
- 2+ years of general IT experience
- Comfortable troubleshooting Windows and Mac operating systems
- A basic understanding of networking troubleshooting at the client level (LAN and Wireless)
- Change Management, Incident management, Problem management, Root Cause analysis
- Experience in troubleshooting/debugging Telephony application issues
Not required, but would be great if you also had:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively develop materials that are appropriate for different audiences
- Ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people may understand
- Self-drive and motivation, with the ability to work with little or no supervision
- Structured approach to work with strong attention to detail
- Ability to react calmly under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Desire to learn and progress, while enjoying challenging and thought-provoking work
- Open-mindedness and flexibility to listen for other peoples’ opinions
- Strong analytical, process design and problem-solving skills and demonstrated project experience; ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks within a collaborative team environment
