BRP
The primary responsibilities of this position are to identify, define, analyze and document the organization’s business requirements. They then transform these into objectives for project or improvement requests. They work with architects to find innovative solutions to respond to the identified requirements. They also ensure that the solutions comply with user requirements.
The desired candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong technical knowledge and strategic business acumen. The person holding this position will work closely with business partners, architects, the development team and department heads. They will be involved in the full implementation cycle of IT solutions and will provide ongoing support to their business partners from development to implementation.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze and model the N&TI (Networking and Telecommunications Infrastructure) business sector and processes within your area of competence.
Assist the Project Delivery Manager in identifying and defining opportunities, evaluating these through preliminary analysis, and managing the various business partner portfolios.
Provide support to business partners by defining, justifying and documenting the organization’s business requirements.
Identify and monitor business requirements using a variety of information gathering techniques that allow business partners to articulate their needs.
Prioritize and manage requirements to facilitate solutions implementation.
Communicate and present concrete solutions.
Provide advice and support to business partners to enable them to improve and innovate.
Maximize accomplishments and build team expertise by mentoring less experienced team members.
Help to define essential business analysis methods, processes and tools.
Contribute to quality checks by performing structured tests or audits.
Assist users during acceptance testing.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field; a Master’s degree would be an asset.
At least eight years of experience in the N&TI (Networking and Telecommunications Infrastructure) field or two years as a business analyst in an N&TI environment.
Knowledge of the business world.
A proven ability to identify and articulate business requirements and convert these into use cases, case studies or test scenarios.
In-depth knowledge and solid experience in the implementation of administrative systems.
Ability to assess the costs, risks and profitability of IT projects.
Proficiency in Microsoft and Microsoft Office tools as well as Google Workspace.
Proven skills in managing relationships with business partners and customer service.
YOUR SKILLS
Knowledge of the N&TI field (Networking and Telecommunications Infrastructure) is an important asset.
