Meta is looking for a Business Planning & Operations (BP&O) Lead who is passionate about driving business strategy and improving operational and business performance for the Business Ecosystem Partnerships (BEP) organization. The Business Ecosystem Partnerships (BEP) organization works with a variety of partner verticals like Ad Tech, Developers, Telecom Operators and Researchers, to drive Revenue, User Growth and Data Transparency for the company. BP&O team’s mission is to help Business Ecosystem Partnerships business leaders run their businesses through strategic planning and initiatives, project management, operations and insights. The BP&O team enables BEP Partnerships leadership to make analytically driven strategic decisions and to increase operational rigor. This person must have a strong business acumen and highly flexible skillset to juggle a range of tasks, including, but not limited to, advanced analysis, resource planning, organizational design, business goal definition, developing data-driven business reviews, internal communications, ad hoc performance analyses, coordination and leadership of critical projects across the company, and contributions to team culture and values.The ideal candidate delivers robust decision making and operations support, with excellent communication to leaders. This role requires someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving organization using lightweight processes, creative ideas and quick iteration to make a significant impact.

Business Planning & Operations Lead Business Ecosystem Partnerships Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Business Ecosystem Partnerships leaders and other internal stakeholders on key business initiatives, goal setting, resource planning and special projects
  • Develop a strategic understanding of the business to connect the dots between internal teams to efficiently execute on commitments and deliverables
  • Analyze data, summarize information, and identify opportunities to help the team improve execution and efficiency. Frame decisions and contribute a strong point of view on how to build a better business and organization
  • Drive key leadership meetings and facilitate alignment on key issues and opportunities Identify areas of process improvement and build plans for teams to improve
  • Compile and edit briefing materials and presentations

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience leading cross-functional projects, working independently and balancing multiple initiatives with project management
  • Experience communicating and influencing others in an environment of fast growth and ambiguity, including senior leadership
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, strategic, and analytical skills, combined with proven business acumen to provide business insights and recommendations from data sets
  • Experience building presentations in PowerPoint, Google slides and/or Keynote
  • 8+ years of work experience in Business Planning and Analysis, Sales/Business Ops., Finance Investment Banking, Finance, Strategy Consulting or related field, or 4+ years post MBA/Master’s degree
  • Demonstrated motivation and experience thinking clearly under pressure, both strategically as well as operationally, while maintaining organization and control
  • BA/BS in an analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business or related field)
  • Experience in business analysis, and driving decision-making working with cross-functional partners like Finance, Product and Product Marketing
  • Stakeholder management experience – managing multiple partners simultaneously with a proven track record of handling highly confidential information with discretion
