Business Process Analyst – Wireless Network Operations

Cartesian is seeking a Senior Analyst with expertise in wireless telecommunications network operations functions, service assurance functions and operational support systems (OSS).
Responsibilities include:
- Providing subject matter expertise related to the operations processes assuring wireless network service reliability
- Reviewing current organization design, current staff, existing processes, and tools
- Defining and documenting end-to-end processes, policies, metrics, and tools requirements that support the company’s vision and telecommunications industry best practices
- Identifying gaps and improvement options to remediate risks and improve efficiency
- Contributing to the creation and delivery of presentations of recommended improvements
Deliverables:
- A real-world view of multiple approaches to end-to-end processes, policies, and metrics to assure service reliability
- Documented end-to-end processes, policies, metrics, and tools requirements to identify and correct network service issues as quickly and proactively as possible
- Input to a list of recommendations for platforms, software tools, and techniques to close gaps within the existing systems
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree, or comparable industry experience
- 5 – 10 years’ experience in network operations
- Strong background in wireless network assurance functions including fault management, resource performance management, resource monitoring, device management, inventory management
- Strong background in wireless service assurance functions including service monitoring, service performance management, service problem management, test & diagnostics, customer agent assurance, customer empowered assurance,
- Strong background in service management processes and tools including incident management, problem management, and change management
- Strong background in wireless network infrastructure and OSS; 5G desired
- Experience building strong partnerships with senior managers
- Excellent communication skills
Location: Remote OK
Duration: Through end of 2022 initially with strong possibility for extension
