This full time position is located in Toronto and GTA.

Brief Job Description: We are looking for Experienced Structured Cable Technicians that can work well in retail/commercial and warehouse environments.
Duties may include setting ground cables, working on poles, installing equipment, and troubleshooting any problems with the cable system.
The cable system of Clients are located in various places therefore the work environment can be inside and outside.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

CAT6/CAT5/Fibre/Cable pulling in Commercial/Industrial/Residential
Cleaning the work area and equipment
Installing cable support structures
Removing redundant cabling
Build closets (mount and install backboards, cross connects, racks, patch panels, fibre optic and hardware)
Route cable through buildings and workstations
Recording time and material used on job sites
Finishing plates/termination/testing/labelling
Installation of EMT pipe
Aluminum molding
Perform other tasks as required
Installation of Telecom/Network/Alarm/Cameras
Interact with customers
Communicate with dispatch, technicians and the Project Manager
Accept responsibility and ownership of their assigned work
Responsible for tools and assets provided by the company
Operating vehicles, lifts, ladders, and test equipment
Travel to and from sites

QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid G license
Must provide a clean driver’s abstract
Must be able to work in all weather conditions
Must be physically fit, including ability to safely lift heavy objects and tools
Must be able to carry and climb extension ladder
Must be well organized
Positive attitude & good communication skills
Must be able to work on a ladder
A team player that supports co-workers
Must be able to read Blue Prints
