The Closeout Specialist will be responsible for the process development, training, and coordination with the construction team to achieve accurate and on time closeout documentation.

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of a team of closeout requirements. Address daily escalations and priority shifts from the customer, act on changes, and keep the team informed.
  • Work with the Construction Management and Field teams to prioritize the closeout requirements, address escalations, resolve issues, and meet closeout submittal targets.
  • Provide customer-facing communications, including status updates, and detailed weekly closeout status reporting both internally and externally.
  • Attention to detail is key. Perform regular QC checks of closeout package documentation to ensure data is correct and matches the schedule. Compare dates with customer provided schedules on a weekly basis and adjust schedules as required.
  • The Closeout Specialist is responsible for the entire closeout process and requires persistence. A thorough understanding of the closeout lifecycle includes tracking requirements daily for multiple ongoing projects.
  • Maintaining orderly records of all documents. Make daily updates to trackers to provide status of individual closeout packages and be well organized. Support the data preparation process for invoicing and billing. Prepare weekly reports for both internal and external customers.
  • Must be resourceful and skilled at communicating nuanced, customer specific details to ensure acceptance in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience on closeout for wireless telecommunications projects
  • Ability to read and understand telecommunications construction drawings
  • Experience in wireless telecommunications is a plus
  • Experience with time management, and ability to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines
  • Strong computer and communication capabilities, must be fluent in Excel, understand and use pivot tables to parse data, use of mapping programs like Google Earth or similar GIS programs
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively or independently
  • Experience trouble shooting and problem resolution
  • Valid driver’s license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
