Belcan is looking for Communication System Engineers who are critical thinkers, innovative and detail oriented to work in the railway industry!

As a Communication Systems Engineer, you will be analyzing the reliability and performance of communications systems, ensuring the accomplishment of the different contractual KPIs and looking for the improvement of the reliability of the fleet.

Responsibilities:

• Execution of the preventive and corrective maintenance
• Technical analysis of faults
• Software or hardware development and integration
• Create different reports (contractual, technical, etc.) to explain incidents for tracking fleet reliability
• Updates of procedures and manuals and training of maintenance workers
• Supervise the performance of the different retrofits in the customer fleet
• Cooperate in the implementation of new tools to monitor new subsystems
• Apply Continuous Improvement and promote its culture.
• Comply with Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational health regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Telecommunication, Industrial Engineering or related
• 3+ years of experience in a similar industrial environment
• Experience in railway maintenance and with railway normative, especially in Signaling and Security on board systems
• Knowledge of electrical, traction and brake system for railway or similar
• SAP, GSI or other ERP system
