Communications Designer-Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD)
The desired candidate must have more than five years of experience as a communication Designer on numerous aviation and or construction projects. This experience should include design of state-of-the-art CCTV and access controls systems, telecommunication and data systems, life safety and fire alarm systems.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide product research, engineering studies, develop conceptual design, final design and construction documents, and design of CCTV access controls and network and communication systems.
- Review new CCTV / ACS products, perform bench mark testing to evaluate and confirm the performance quality of the products.
- Airport systems design includes, CFR49 Part 1542 (FAR 107.14) security system, parking revenue control system, as well as airfield perimeter system design.
EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate must have experience in projects that included new access control system, a new distributed digital CCTV system, planning and integration of multiple networked-based systems into a single managed local area network, communications infrastructure and an Advanced Graphical Interface for the integration of multiple Airport Security and Operations systems.
Lead technology system designer, responsible for the design of electronic security systems, 49 CFR, Part 1542 security and CCTV system.
Design and construction services for a facility-wide access control and digital CCTV systems. The project included new security head-end equipment, command console, local area network, communications infrastructure, CCTV cameras, card readers and a point-to-point wireless Ethernet for perimeter vehicle gates, CCTV and access control.
