Function: Vodafone Business Legal (VBL)
Department: Risk, Regulatory & Compliance (RRC)

Long Description
Role purpose:
To provide compliance support in assisting with the implementation, management and monitoring of governance frameworks across Vodafone Business.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
- Policy governance and compliance – Act as key support role in relation to the development, implementation, review of Vodafone Business compliance procedures and controls to meet the requirements of the Vodafone Global Policy Standards on (including privacy, anti-bribery, , sanctions/trade controls, competition, business continuity and others as relevant). Work closely with both stakeholders in Vodafone Business as well as with Group.
- Assurance & Audit – Assist with the ongoing Internal Audit reviews & Group Policy Compliance assurance quality reviews and & deep dive activities to test Vodafone Business’ compliance with core policy standards.
- Culture & Communications – Promote a strong compliance culture across Vodafone Business through the development and delivery of engaging and innovative communications and training.
- Deal support and governance: Provide support to Vodafone Business Legal and deal account teams on compliance related provisions including advice on negotiating appropriate clauses for anti-bribery, sustainability and sanctions/trade controls.
- Operational activities: Manage relevant ongoing risk and compliance activities relating to audit & compliance findings, tracking training completion, KRIs, Sharepoint etc
Long Description
- Technical knowledge: Experience in advising on telecoms compliance matters and familiarity with compliance frameworks to manage and mitigate risk.
- Communication: Good interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail.
- Flexible: Possess a flexible approach to working with the ability to contribute to teamwork enhancement.
- Organisational skills: Good organizational and planning skills. Ability to prioritise workload and manage deadlines.
- Pro-active and motivated: Reliable, self-motivated and proactive.

- Strong results relating to the effectiveness of compliance controls across Vodafone Business
- Stakeholder engagement level (evidenced by regular feedback from key stakeholders – internal and external)
Technical / professional qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent level qualification (Must)
- Recent experience in compliance advisory and/or legal role (Preferred)
