Construction Manager Position Overview:
The position of the Construction Manager is to oversee daily operations of in-house teams and subcontractors while they are engaged in the construction, installation, and in-service testing of all project-related telecommunications systems. This position will be directly responsible for the overall success of construction projects including quality, schedules and budgets.The position’s mission is accomplished through the performance of some or all of the following functions or tasks:
- Perform all tasks in a safe manner, ensuring safety of self and crew by adhering to work practices outlined in the Health & Safety Manual.
- Coordinate and schedule field activities and resources to complete the scope of work.
- Ability to coordinate with in-house tower crews, subcontractors, engineering, and client network operations teams.
- Report issues or challenges to the Market Lead and propose solutions to keep projects on track.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must have a good understanding and experience of Construction and Material/BOM Management and will be required to work with multiple departments.
- Perform Bid Walks, Pre-construction Meetings and coordination with site owner.
- Interface with the client as needed, as well as utilizing the company’s engineering and management team for decisions.
- Will be responsible for forecasting, tracking and reporting on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly schedule to key stakeholders.
- Maintain contact with customer field personnel, as needed, to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ability to read construction drawings and help others to understand how to build using the prints issued.
- Provides on-site analysis of ongoing specific construction projects.
- Identify additional resources to support various construction projects and oversee their quality and schedule.
- Give recommendations to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer service.
Construction Manager Qualifications:
- OSHA 10hr certification, 30hr a plus
- Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in telecom construction management
- Bachelor’s Degree in construction management or equivalent preferred
- Strong time management and construction quality and safety experience.
- Experience managing Verizon installations a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
- MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
Construction Manager Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel 100% of the time
- Pass Background, Drug Test and clean MVR driving records

Pay: $68,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
