Job Title Content Manager Department Marketing Reports To Marketing Director Salary Level Negotiable The purpose of this role is to own, develop & manage all client-facing communications for Worktual, ensuring that our “Comms Done Different” thought-leadership positioning is projected consistently. The key dimensions for success are both the volume & quality of marketing content produced, which should result in increased traffic, dwell time & translate into inbound sales enquiries. Main Duties-Be the internal custodian of the Worktual brand, ensuring the “Comms Done Different” positioning is understood internally & widely implemented consistently.

  • Managing all website communication ensuring clarity & easy of understanding.
  • Ensure the website has a best-in-class B2B content including blogs & case studies.
  • Developing and running creative ad campaigns and marketing communications.
  • Develop, launch and manage effective, consistent, regular and ad-hoc advertising campaigns (through offshore Performance Marketing teams and/or agency).
  • Manage social media channels (Twitter & LinkedIn), drive engagement and attract followers. Evaluate & recommend other online channels (e.g. Medium).
  • Research & create blog posts and measure engagement from target clients.
  • Undertake as well as update keyword research to ensure all Worktual content is optimised (together with offshore SEO team and/or agency).
  • Ensuring all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice and optimised for search & user experience for all channels of content including the website, blogs, case studies, social media, email, mobile and video.
  • Review Marketing automation data, continuously optimise journeys to increase lead generation and conversion (together with offshore HubSpot team).
  • Analyse and report on marketing content performance data to inform future business strategy and marketing decisions using available tools.
  • Advising and directing client communication channels (e.g. web chat & e-mail).
  • Contribute towards client promotional campaigns, providing thematic concepts & creative to assist the Sales effort with new business development.
  • Assist internal teams on an ad hoc basis with presentation preparation. Skills and experience
  • Ideally 5-7 years in similar roles with exceptional/leading B2B tech companies.
  • A communications expert, someone with a passion for writing both long and short form marketing content/copy targeted towards sophisticated business audiences.
  • Digitally savvy with a creative streak, clearly being able to demonstrate what you have done independently in the digital or offline space.
  • An avid learner, someone who can show commitment & interest in self-development (e.g. CIM qualifications).
  • Understand digital content, having a clear grasp of SEO, PR and social media and a good eye for writing, content and design.
  • Demonstrable understanding of web analytics, metrics and tools, obsessively measuring performance of activities and campaigns and using data to drive strategy and decision making.
  • An interest in tech and/or, telecommunications sectors would be beneficial but is not essential.
  • 2:1+ Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English language/literature, marketing or a related field and/or CIM/IDM diploma.
  • Experience with using various MarTech software e.g. HubSpot/Pardot, WordPress/CMS, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, AmpleMarket etc.
  • Excellent spoken and written English, with the ability to work cross-culturally with international teams.
  • Positive, creative, flexible and driven.
  • Nice to have any other European languages e.g. French/German/Spanish (not essential). The role of Content Manager: This is a newly created position within the organisation, designed to lead all company marketing content, create a best-in-class B2B brand content, and assist business growth in the UK & Europe. The Content Manager will report to the Marketing Director and work closely with the wider business

The Content Manager will be responsible for developing all content/media, as well as working with agencies (e.g. PR) to help to execute the marketing plan.
