The Containerboard Packaging Group, a division of Cascades, is the largest containerboard producer in Canada, and is also a top converter of corrugated products in the country. The Division, which employs close to 3,400 people, owns six containerboard mills and nineteen corrugated products plants in Canada and the United States.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, the HR Technician – Corporate is responsible for providing administrative support to the HR team by carrying out a wide range of activities related to human resources in order to support the business strategy and objectives of the Containerboard head office located in Saint-Bruno. You will be responsible for all operational and transactional human resources activities related to the employee experience, including new employee on-boarding and integration, workforce planning, job creation, compensation and benefits, training and skills development, HR communication, and all data management related to these activities in the systems. You act as a resource person for employees and managers. You answer their administrative questions regarding management and best practices in human resources to ensure a competent and mobilized workforce.
Be the first responder to employee and manager questions (HR policies and procedures).
Be responsible for managing employee data via Success Factors in collaboration with Payroll/HR Shared Services.
Develop expertise in benefits and ensure the efficient management of disability files.
Write notices, letters, or any other HR communications.
Produce reports and provide various analyses to the HR team.
Support the HR team in various employee engagement initiatives.
Actively participate in committees such as the social committee, United Way committee and organize local events as needed.
Perform all other administrative tasks related to Human Resources.

Have a college diploma (DEC) in Administration or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or any other related field.
A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar or related position.
Master the Office suite and especially Excel (e.g.: V searches, pivot tables).
Be bilingual
Have a thorough knowledge of technological platforms for human resources.
Experience in payroll and benefits is an asset.
Have a strong concern for the satisfaction of business partners.
Collaborative spirit to work closely with all members of the HR team.
Organized, autonomous and able to manage priorities
