Data Center Project Manager-Fit Out

Requirements: Designs and project manages Low Voltage Infrastructure, AV, and Security Systems for Hyperscale and Colo Data Centers.

Design – Understand customer requirements and support a design that best utilizes their new data center facility. This focus of design is the structural support systems, power distribution to the cabinet level, carrier infrastructures, structured cable plant and overall data center layout.

Oversight – Focus on managing the implementation of the project, as designed, to ensure subcontractors are adhering to design criteria and building the data center to the client’s expectations, on time and within budget.

Project Management – Ensure that the required completion date is on target, chair meetings with the client and subcontractors, and provide regular updates on progress to the customer.

The Candidate would need to be able to design low voltage infrastructure systems (Passive Only, Not Active Network)

To include the following:

• Outside Plant Cable Pathways
• Inside Plant Cable Pathways
• Meet Me Rooms, Racks, Cabinets, Enlarged Plans
• Fiber Distribution and Termination
• Horizontal Copper Distribution and Termination
• Telecom Grounding
• Coordinate design with in-house Revit Production team (Or provide Revit Services themselves)
• Provide Labeling Plans for generation of Patch/Port Schedules

Candidate should have a well-rounded understanding of low voltage infrastructure standards and be able to perform the following tasks:

• Project Site Observation and Punch Visits
• RFI Responses
• Submittal Reviews
• Weekly Low Voltage Meetings
• Attendance and participation of weekly OAC Meetings
• Schedule Management for low voltage trades
• Weekly Site Visits and development of client relations at local facilities (Virginia or Phoenix)
• Some travel will be required if located at home office.
• RCDD, Bicsi DCDC, CDCDP or PMP or related Data Center Facilities Design certifications are a plus.
