Director of Network Delivery
We’re looking for a Network Delivery Director whose experience will be used to oversee the network delivery within the UK, be accountable for the leadership and proactive management of the strategic planning of the rollout, which includes planning and design, network build and network maintenance. You will be managing the Head of departments within the delivery teams: Head of Planning and Head of Builds.
Responsible for identifying and implementing initiatives to combine and optimise activities to accelerate build and maximise cost savings. Proactively supporting in coordination of the planning and build partners, work scheduling and effective delivery.
This is a role with great potential for growth as we expect you to take charge of organising people, information,and resources to enable the team to work effectively, suggesting and leading change where required.
Responsibilities
As the Director of Network Delivery you will be responsible for:

- Lead and proactively manage the network delivery build across all the regions achieving agreed business KPIs, cost and performance targets.
- Support in the generation of and maintenance of the overall network delivery plan for every new and existing region in build at any time.
- The reporting and management of MIS to support the Director of Operations and Managing Director in organising and delivering target premises passed.
- Work with the Commercial Director and Procurement team to identify and negotiate key changes.
- Build and Plan delivery governance to ensure that planning and build teams and all key business departments are aligned
- Ensure key metrics and decisions are acted upon quickly and decisively.
- The management and mitigation of all risks and issues within the delivery.
- Budget management and reporting to ensure that all deliveries are completed within the budgets set and that KPIs are adhered to or exceeded.
- Must be able to complete the functions of the Head of Planning and Head of Build.

Knowledge
- Experience of managing fibre infrastructure build or network deployment projects within telecoms to agreed time, cost and quality targets.
- Detailed knowledge of the methodologies, processes and capabilities required to build network infrastructure or network deployment using partners, contractors and retained teams.
- Familiarity with contracts and performance management
- Working knowledge of PIA, CDM, and NRSWA is essential
