Job Description
- Ensure successful deployment of telecommunications programs across the country by effectively collaborating with cross-functional business and technology teams to solve problems and implement new solutions.
- Nurture internal working relationships within National Development and across the enterprise to foster the development of cross functional teamwork.
Responsibilities:
· Proven track record identifying project impacting issues, able to work with senior members of the customer Project Management team to develop and implement solutions.
- Tracks key project milestones, adjusting project plans and/or resources as indicated.
- Communicates project status to stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Creates project management documentation (project logs, status reports, issues management, etc.).
- Monitors work daily, identifying resource needs, performing quality review, and escalating functional, quality, and timeline issues appropriately. Facilitates issue resolution.
- Communicates effectively with all levels of employees, both technical and non-technical.
- Working knowledge of standard concepts, best practices and procedures related to business functions/units.
- Takes the initiative to search for and identify alternative and/or innovative solutions to both business and technical problems.
- Uses planning skills to manage and complete large, complex projects.
- Quickly adapts to the demands inherent in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Develops detailed project schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports; tracks key project milestones and adjusts project plans and/or resources to meet needs of customers
· Builds relationships with key stakeholders and project resources to drive key decisions and ensure timely project completion
· Examine risks associated with the work, proposed contracts and major changes, and make recommendations for handling or equitable sharing.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or another related field.
- 5 – 10 years of experience (DAS/DRAN construction and Integration being preferred) working on projects in the telecommunications industry as a Delivery Manager including managing programs/projects in multiple technologies and functions
- Familiarity with equipment, methodology, processes and terminology specific to the wireless industry. This includes but is not limited to FCC requirements, spectrum requirements; licensed microwave and fiber backhaul; LTE (4G, 5G); site acquisition requirements; tower site build requirements, deployment (installation, testing, optimization, on-air dependencies), and vendor SOWs/deliverables; and network and RF Engineering SOWs/deliverables.
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical thinking skills
· Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively connect with all employee levels and levels of management including the ability to provide brief, easy to understand recommendations to non-technical staff and varied audiences.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
