Job Description for Electric Vehicle Charging Station Installer

• Ability to travel up to 12 days at a time. From time to time, you may be asked to extend travel up to 18 days due to project schedule deadlines, holiday schedule etc. 12 Days is the normal and any travel time in excess of 12 days is rare.

· Able to work and communicate with others effectively.

· Need thorough understanding of NEC.

· Ability to read blueprints and manufacturer’s specifications.

· Ability to complete all job documentation in detail.

· Ability to operate heavy equipment (reach fork, skid steer, mini excavator).

· Trains or informs employees of new work methods or procedures, changes in safety regulations, work policies and electrical codes and standards. Ensures that subordinates are wearing and utilizing PPE.

· Knowledgeable of the tools, equipment and materials common to the electrical trade.

· Familiar with OSHA regulations.

· Possess OSHA 10 certification.

· Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems.

· Knowledge of cutting, bending, threading, and installing electrical conduit and materials

· Knowledge of pulling wire through electrical conduit

· Knowledge of terminating electrical panels, installing lighting fixtures, receptacles, and various electrical devices.

· Knowledge of installing and connecting wires to circuit breakers, transformers, outlets or other components and systems.

· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and provide daily reporting; documentations needed both verbally and written.

· Interact with customer on site as needed.

· Complies with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.

· Provide all necessary hand tools in order to perform your job duties

· Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

· Be clean, professional in appearance, and have a positive professional attitude.

· Able to lift 50 lbs.

· Able to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks.

· Able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods of time.

· Able to reach over-head.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $35.00 per hour
