As the Manager of Communications, you excel at providing accurate, timely and effective communications that enable Spectrum Enterprise teams to provide high-quality client service. You support business initiatives by planning and providing clearly written and easily understood communications to all team members. You thrive in an office environment interacting with teams in-person and digitally. You report directly to the Director, Knowledge & Change Management, for goals, guidance and assistance.

What you will do:
- Promote company-wide success through active and consistent support of all efforts to simplify and enhance the client experience.
- Initiate, develop and execute concepts to improve ongoing communications with team members, including e-communications, knowledge management system and videos.
- Plan, research, create and write communications materials and web content to support specific initiatives, such as product enhancements, policies, processes, rate adjustments, marketing initiatives, operational initiatives, acquisitions and divestitures.
- Maintain high-quality communications by developing and executing a uniform method for reviewing and approving communications and web content.
- Continuously improve communications through the facilitation of cross-functional communications review meetings.
- Develop working relationships with internal subject matter experts and managers to create accurate and informative communications.
- Enhance understanding of communications techniques by researching internal communication tools and techniques and how they can best be used within Spectrum Enterprise.
- Perform additional duties related to the position as assigned.
Required keys for success:
- Five years of communications experience.
- Must provide work samples, such as printed publications, intranet communications, team meetings and events, videos or announcements.
- Ability to write, design or edit web content using authoring or scripting language or content creation tools, like Dreamweaver and Flash.
- Demonstrated project management skills and process improvement skills.
- Track record of partnering cross-functionally and leading through influence.
- History of organizing and managing multiple tasks and time to meet simultaneous deadlines.
- Solid ability to analyze and interpret data and summarize written copy into easy to understand content.
- Experience creating plans, timelines and process flowcharts.
- Knowledge of best practices and enterprise knowledge management systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Effective written and spoken English communication skills with all levels of an organization.
How you will stand out from the crowd:
- Experience with Premier Pro and Canva.
- Proven ability to build graphics or iconography.
- Track record of editing and producing videos.
- Knowledge of adult learning and development concepts.
- Familiar with telecommunications products.
- Experience using web design software.
Your education:
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience (required).
