Start a unique aerospace career and join our newly launched EU Graduate Rotation Program (EUG) where your ideas take flight!

This two-year long trainee program is crafted to develop diverse, multi-skilled, recent university graduates and early career talent who will shape the future of Boeing. The program offers a breadth and depth of skills gained from a variety of assignments in engineering, software development or supply chain roles. During this program, participants complete four six-month long placements across a number of key subject areas in different locations across Germany and beyond. Relocation assistance is provided as needed to facilitate movement to the various locations. Upon graduation the participants have the opportunity to move into a permanent role at Boeing and build an outstanding career with us.

Rotational placements involve working in the following areas:

  • Materials and Manufacturing Technology. In the field of Virtual Assembly, you will be developing new tools and methods to predict, optimize and monitor build-in stresses. Improving the handling of manufacturing tolerances, you will help reduce waste and build lighter, more efficient aircrafts, making a significant contribution to a sustainable aerospace industry.
  • Integrated Vehicle Systems. In the field of Structural Technologies, you will be working on advanced structures developing analytical and numerical simulation for composite or additive materials, developing and improving structural simulation of wing or additive manufactured structures for urban air mobility.
  • Model-Based Engineering. In the field of Design for Manufacturing and Assembly, you will be working as part of an interdisciplinary team on a use case demonstrating new methods to consider manufacturing and assembly aspects as early as possible in the product development lifecycle.

Our requirements:

  • Degree level in aerospace, mechanical, production engineering or similar technical degree obtained before 2022.
  • General understanding of typical engineering tools and basic level of programming skills. First experience (e.g. internship) in design and stress analysis and/or tolerance chain analysis would be a plus.
  • Flexibility to work at various locations across European Union.
  • Proficiency in both verbal and written English. German is not required although be useful.

The tools we use: 3Dx, Cameo, CATIA, ABAQUS/Simulia, 3DCs and DELMIA, Python, C++.

Work authorization: This requisition is for a locally hired position in Germany. Candidates must have current legal authorization to work immediately in the European Union. Boeing will not attempt to obtain immigration and labor sponsorship for any applicants.

Relocation: This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Please note: The successful candidates will be expected to undergo a security check/clearance.

Work Format: Hybrid. Each rotation have a mix of onsite and telecommuting options. The final decision on work format is determined by each hosting organization.
