Experienced Cell Tower Climber Technician Crew Leader

Bechtel Construction Services is currently seeking experienced cell tower technician crew leaders for our northern California Communications Market currently based in Livermore, CA.

Requirements:

• Must have Tower Climbing certification/capability
• Must have 4+ years of Cell Tower Climber Technician experience
• Must be 21+ years of age
• Must have valid driver’s license

Experience and Qualifications

• Perform all aspects of cell tower lines and antenna work. Includes installing squids, proper use of antenna alignment tools, installing RRUs and associated cabling.
• Ensures safety standards and requirements are adhered to by craftworkers and others when in the operational area.
• Gives direction to the crew as required and ensures that direction is followed.
• Responsible for all tools, equipment, and material issued.
• Responsible in helping train crew members.
• Responsible for required paperwork and familiar with basic computer related tasks.
• Familiar with proper procedures for all types of rigging operations. Ability to perform and inspect certain types of rigging operations.
• Familiar with reading engineering drawings, sweeps, and specifications.
• Tower climbing certification/capability required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 – $39.00 per hour
