Fiber Splicer Project Supervisor

Mid-Ohio Pipeline, a leader in the utilities industry, is looking for an experienced Project Supervisor to work in the greater Columbus, Ohio area.

The Project Supervisor is responsible for the on-site management of the project so that utility construction is completed in an orderly, timely and cost effective fashion. Summary areas of responsibility are:

Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
• Ability to use computer/electronic device to query the information system, monitor production and submit reports and time sheets
• Able to read blue prints and follow job specifications and orders
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent
• Experience in people and job management preferred
• Telecom experience preferred
• Underground utility management preferred

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Will be exposed to high noise levels

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License preferred
• Pass initial drug test and subject to post-accident and random drug testing
• Valid Medical Examiner’s Health Card
• Certified in First Aid and CPR procedures
• Previous utility construction experience
• Previous people and job management experience

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
