Telecon is looking for an energetic and career minded individual to take on the position of Field Coordinator with our growing team in Carp, ON. This full-time opportunity includes health benefits, company match RRSP plus opportunity for growth!
As a Field Coordinator you will be the gateway between our Field and Office staff when it comes to providing management with progress reports on work completed in the field, as well as being an ambassador for safe working practices.
This role will be 90% in the field and 10% in office, therefore an ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys being in the field and is comfortable being outdoors in various weather conditions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as an on-site liaison between the office and field staff to ensure all safety paperwork is up to date
- Providing updates to management on production with regards to work completion and progress as required
- Monitor the progress of projects, tracking milestones and identify any areas of risk or concern
- Work closely with the Construction Team on a daily basis to track and ensure deliverables are met as it relates to the project(s)
- Any and all other duties as assigned in order to meet Company objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
- Civil Engineering background and/or Field experience is an asset but not required
- Willing to ask questions and build relationships with our field and office staff
- Computer literacy in Windows, Microsoft Office, and Outlook
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Must have at least a G license and access to a personal vehicle
- Willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions and in a construction setting
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Must be able to complete a criminal background check to the company’s satisfaction
