The Field Sales Engineer (FSE) is responsible for market development activities, performing advanced product services, as well as designing, planning and implementing technical product training programs for employees, customers, and other key influencers. The FSE will establish relationship with new and current industry decision makers, customers, and end- users. The FSE will partner with the sales team to ensure the growth and development of future business in their respective market territory and will be considered the technology expert for Epos Audio, Video and software portfolio of products and use this knowledge to influence and help close current and future business, as well as create and deliver ongoing education to the organization, customers and end users. The FSE will be responsible for reporting out on activities and successes in the sales channel.

Responsibilities:

Technical Services

  • Review and develop customized solutions for customer needs
  • Provide presentation support for audio, video collaboration and software (Epos Manager)
  • Provide highest level of pre-sales technical support, trouble shooting and assistance both in person and over the phone to coworkers, field staff, customers and end users
  • Provide feedback to Business Segment and Epos Product Teams on new product needs, industry trends, competitive developments, etc.
  • Handle post sales optimization requirements and customer care
  • Provide Special Event Support as needed

Market Development

  • Demonstrate and promote the products, creating end user demand, with a focus on creating future business
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with the top influencers, consultants and customers in the markets Epos serves. Assist with their inquiries related to product applications and/or features, specifications
  • Design and develop market development programs based on organization and individual needs
  • Assist the sales organization with the sale of the products in the marketplace and generating leads
  • Assist in the development of long-term, strategic growth initiatives for the channels
  • Acts as primary contact with targeted business segments to showcase products/services to create demand and selling opportunities

Key Dimensions

  • Reliable and trustworthy support to Director and team member of Sales & Marketing Regional team
  • Competence of all UC platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google etc.
  • Mastering all systems and tools in in use by the sales & marketing organization

Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of enterprise AV/video collaboration market
  • Analytical aptitude, to include Digital Theory/IT Networking Knowledge, RF knowledge, Strong DECT and Bluetooth knowledge
  • Experience with networked video collaboration on Android systems
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Teams Admin center and UC platform portals
  • Excellent presentation and demonstration skills
  • Creative-thinker and problem-solver
  • Willingly accepts direction to adapt role to organization or team changes
  • Able to organize and manage highly-detailed processes effectively
  • Results focused; uses performance targets and goals to drive personal accountability
  • Able to quickly learn company systems and tools as well as specify complex telecommunications systems

  • Ability to identify the educational needs of others, developing formal educational or training programs or classes, and teaching or instructing others

Education and/or experience

  • Understanding of Epos products and the competitive landscape preferred
  • 5+ years practical & demonstrated experience in UC/telecommunications and Video Collaboration
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Expert knowledge in technical understanding of audio theory, RF, DECT and Bluetooth wireless technology
  • Strong understanding of the markets we serve

This role requires up to 50% travel. Overnight and weekend travel is required as business needs dictate.

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
